Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! I happen to have a really great Mom. I also have the bonus of having a Mom-in-law that I enjoy joking around with and having as part of my family.
This year's celebration has been a little bittersweet for us. Our grandmother---well, really my husband's but I like to claim her as my own!---is not going to be with us for any more Mother's Day celebrations. She was not given much longer to live. She is a wonderful woman who has been an outstanding great-grandparent for our kids. What she did as a mother is the foundation of our family heritage.
